Metal Plain Washer

It is a thin plate with a hole in the middle, which is specifically designed for distributing the load of a threaded fastener. Washers are also capable of preventing pre-load loss, and thus it is used with various high quality bolted joints. Additionally, a Metal Plain Washer is usually required in applications, wherein the hole has a larger diameter than the fixing nut. It can also be used as a wear pad, spacer, locking device, pre-load indicating device and for spreading the load of a screwed fastening.
